Re: Owen Farrell
Surely that boat has sailed now playing-wise? Maybe he could have plans to invest in the club though

Still think he could do a job for a year at 13 personally

This is the type of thing rugby league should do think of the profile he brings - would bring a load of neutral eyes just to see how he gets on

He set this company up in April 2020.
Re: Owen Farrell
I was thinking of Tom Curry's twin brother Ben. He's a similar build and as good as him when not injured, but he has been unlucky, and, he's not from Yorkshire (apologies wherever necessary). Tom's too much embedded into the other code, I forget what its called. A prop I would guess. Any comments?

Not sure he would play 13 as he’s spent his Union career as Fly Half or inside centre.Wigan_forever1985 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 5:45 pm Still think he could do a job for a year at 13 personally
He’d played 6 or 7.

Re: Owen Farrell
OF is 31 and it seems unlikely he'd leave Union before their World Cup September next year.
If he could be persuaded to join us then whatever his salary none of it would count on the salary cap in the first year.
If Owen did stay to the end of the Union wc then his dad might take over as England union coach. Should that happen then you'd imagine Andy would be rebuilding the England team for the next Union wc via 6 nations and autumn intls.
One thing we don't know is if Eddie Jones will last as England coach until the Union World Cup. If he was sacked before then that would change everything.
