Strange sometimes how one view or opinion can be acceptable, but to politely disagree isn't - I'm talking in general, not specifically about this forum. BBC had a piece yesterday about primary school kids being taught a song about "King Charles III". If they'd been studying "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine from the 1770s, there'd have been uproar about political indoctrination.
