Today Saints play St George Illawarra!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Have to agree. Don't like it but they did look sharp and organised today. The one thing I will say tho roby is kingpin and everything stemmed from him. I'm sure penrith will be onto this.fozzieskem wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 11:50 am It galls me to say but I think saints will put one over penrith

Re: Saints or Penrith
I didn't watch the battle of the red vee earlier today.
Although many articles have concluded that Penrith will field an understrength squad, I can't see it being totally depleted or weak enough to allow an English club to win on Australian soil in a final.
I remember watching Leeds Rhinos start rather enthusiastic scoring first against Melbourne in 2018 and as the game went on it was clear why SL is SL and NRL is NRL.
If the game was in the UK I might have a different perspective.

Saints of course Can't abide the childish immature negative vitriol levied against them. And I'm a Wigan supporter of 60 years plus.
