Because if you want your squad to be able to compete when we pick up the odd injury, we need players to have been playing games. You also need to keep players on their toes. I'm sure Peet could give you a huge, detailed explanation why you can't play the same 17 every week

Today! What about next week? Or more importantly the week after? How often does Sneyd or Makinson miss a kick from any position? That’s all I’m saying.
I think you're being a tad harsh. He's copped a lot of stick online for his goal kicking percentage but I only really recall the odd one or two where you'd expect most kickers to score and he hasn't. He seemed to find his groove last night and hopefully he takes that into next week

Team shouldn’t need changing so much during the game.
History tells us that majority, if not all, successful teams have stability in their 13/17 and only rotate the forwards and maybe the hooker during the game.

I'm hoping that he's changing the team because the players aren't performing well enough to keep their places. The problem is if Peet drops Mago, Ellis and KPP who plays in their place? Singleton, Cooper, Isa aren't playing well either.
Though I was a little concerned to read in the matchday programme that Liam Byrne thought it was hard to fight for his place because the forwards were doing so well. I hope that was just being a supportive teammate otherwise the bar is set staggeringly low.

Just cos you don't see anyone practising before the game doesn't mean they won't practice in training. IIRC Field used to kick, Smith landed two tricky ish kicks last night which won the game.
