Wigan Warriors v St Helens, Friday 7th April, 3pm K.O.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of this the Good Friday Derby clash against St Helens (3pm K.O.).

Tickets

Fans are advised that there will be NO ON THE DAY SALES for this Friday’s game, ahead of a bumper attendance inside the DW Stadium.

Seating

Supporters are reminded that all tickets in the North (away), East and West Stands are for reserved seats. Supporters MUST sit in their allocated seat indicated on their ticket. Thank you for you co-operation.

Minutes Silence

There will be a one minute silence prior to kick-off (3pm) in remembrance of former Wigan player David Willicombe. Willicombe made his Wigan debut on 2 February 1974 and would go on to make over 100 appearances for the club.

Robin Park Arena Fan Village

Robin Park Arena Fan Village is open from 12pm! Legendary vocalist Angie Brown will appear before this Friday’s Good Friday Clash with St Helens, both at Robin Park and inside the ground prior to kick-off. Her voice has been compared to the all-time greats, such as Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin and most well known as the featured vocalist on Bizarre Inc’s two hits “I’m Gonna Get You” (1992) and “Playin with Knives (1991). She was also the featured vocalist on Motiv8’s top twenty UK track from 1994, “Rockin’ for Myself”.

Soak up the pre-match atmosphere, with free entry for all with a valid match ticket. Our Club store will open at 10am and will re-open after the game, with a pop-up shop at the fan village before kick off, as well as two on-site bars. On Friday you can also pick up Try/No Try Cards from the Fan Village as well as all new 2023 Player Cards!

Club Store

Shop everything Wigan Warriors at our Official Club Store and pop-up! Our shop at Robin Park Arena will be open from 10am until kick-off, re-opening following the match. There will also be a pop-up shop inside the Fan Village that will be open before kick-off.

Parking

Fans are advised to arrive early in order to secure parking in the surrounding areas due to demand. Card payments are now accepted on all of our car parks, the charges remain the same (£5.00 per car/£10 per minibus/£20 per coach on Car Park 1, and Cars £5.00 on Car Parks 3 & 4).

Golden Gamble and Matchday Programme

For just £1 per ticket (CASH ONLY), prizes include a Cash Prize, a Player’s Match worn shirt and plenty of fantastic vouchers, not forgetting the famous Jar of Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls.

Our ‘Warrior’ Matchday Programme will also be available from our sellers around the ground for £4, as well as being available to purchase in our Club Store at Robin Park Arena. You can also purchase our Matchday Programme digitally for just £3, available to buy 60 minutes before kick-off (2:00pm) HERE.

I wish to record my respects in memory of David willicombe. Because , unfortunately I can't attend the game today. David captained the team unfortunately sustaining repeated broken arms. RIP David.

Tense but great game to watch, also pleasing to hear that Martin Offiah is now working with the club. Although what has happened if in 2005 a sell out was 25004 and in 2023 a sell out crowd is 24275

south stand is unresearved so cant sell out due to the rule of freedom to road, think its 10% reduced

That's weird isn't it you'd think they'd want bums on all seats

Thanks for explaining that for me, it does seem a shame as 858 is quite a chunk of seats that can never be filled in this circumstance which at £26 per ticket is worth upto £22308

Didn't sell all the other reserved seats anyway so not a big deal. Hope some of the guys who went yesterday who don't normally go enjoyed it and get a taste for going to more games
