Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Jesus didnt realise it was that long ago.Great memories especially hanleys try and hampsons joy at scoring( im sure this was set up as he was on the wing when he scored). Also was good to see saints fans leaving the ground with 30 odd minutes left lol
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE

That was it. It was the only final that I missed watching in person. I watched the game with my mate, a Saints fan, on forces TV in Germany. Free ale for me after the game, so a double winFirestarter wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2023 11:41 am Jesus didnt realise it was that long ago.Great memories especially hanleys try and hampsons joy at scoring( im sure this was set up as he was on the wing when he scored). Also was good to see saints fans leaving the ground with 30 odd minutes left lol

I remember a game at Knowsley Road not long after where the chant was "27-0" to the tune of "Ilkley Moor"jobo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2023 11:58 amThat was it.
