Marshy
Anyone know what's wrong with him fitness wise?
Obviously he's missed a few games but the couple of games he's been involved in in the last couple of months he hasn't looked fully fit to me.
Is it the cut on the foot that I've read or is it something else?

His foot, the cut keeps opening up.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Marshy
Not sure on his foot but the injury keeping him out until last week was described as a ‘lower abdominal injury’ by Peet a couple of weeks back. He said it’s lingered a bit longer than expected and his comeback was pushed back because of it. I agree that since about R4/5 he’s not looked 100% and I think it’s been a combination of his foot and this abdominal injury.

Looked like he was over his issues tonight, which is really pleasing.

He was brilliant tonight but I just got the feeling he didn’t back himself to go for the corner a couple of times, usually he would.

You mean both times when he passed inside to Farrell for the score?Barney841 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:27 pmI’m not sure about him.NICKYKISS wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 10:33 pmup the junction wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 8:52 pm He doesn’t look unfit to me

If Thornley was playing there i don't think we score either of those as much as I like Thornley. He doesn't have the pace Marshy does. I don't think he lacked any physicality at all today. His acceleration was as good as ever and he got stuck in. Back to his best I'd say

No. Two other times when your winger you back yourself for the corner but kinda stopped and came to a haltBlackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:30 pmYou mean both times when he passed inside to Farrell for the score?
