Been a top class player.
Past his best now though and not sure if he’s captain material

Worst captain in years. Another jobs for the boys decision. Unfortunately has backfired with usual result where once appointed captaincy responsibility form goes to pot. Take captaincy off him and you'll see a return to more usual level of form.

Never mind Farrell, someone tell me when the last time Smithies broke a tackle.
And don’t give me all the “ he’s a good tackler “ crap, that’s the feeble excuse we’ve been using for Powell for years.
Walmsley, Paasi, Sironen, battered us.
When the hell is the penny going to drop, the pack is garbage. The best backs in the business would do nothing playing behind that shower.

Faz is not poor but he is definitely on the wane, the problem is that the other forwards are average. It is a problem that we need to resolve ASAP.

Also, we need quality coaches. There is no way we would be performing so poorly with a coach who has a ruthless streak. Peet is too nice, whilst Lockers and Tommy both have a lot to learn. Our defence is shocking and our attack almost non existent. Does anyone think that we would be performing so badly with Edwards in charge?

It probably would have happened anyway with the injuries & poor signings.

Everyone was calling Lam, but he’s doing something right at Leigh! He had the Covid years to contend with & no French or Field.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Don't forget that fantastic signing Hampshire, another old boy not good enough in the first place, allowed to leave and then bring him back, just like Thornley, both nowhere near good enough

This season Liam Farrell has been a good player.

A couple of seasons ago he was a very good player.

Is he in the side on merit? Yes.

Nothing to see here.
