Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Huge game to set down a marker. Will certainly go above wire into second considering the players they have out vs Leeds away. Still haven’t got the trust in this time at home like I did last year

Enjoyable game tonight. Feel for Huddersfield though, they are setting themselves up in good positions and just can't finish.
Thought Singleton went well. The wet weather suited the way he plays.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Kept it simple and won and in that weather it's all you can ask for
Re: Wigan squad for Huddersfield
Horrible conditions. A real arm wrestle of a game. Highlight was holding their no 12 up over the try line and managing to get him over the dead ball line.
Referee Smith wasn’t popular with the sin bin given Harry Smith was taken out after the kick and no one walked for that.
And the the bloody M6 was shut on the way back. I took a friend who’s is visiting from London so he had a tour of Wigan in the rain and on the way back Warrington. Summer rugby and roadworks!

Not one to live in the memory for to long, good effort all round and a well earned 2pts,stand off position is becoming a bit of a headache though.
