Catalans flights

THe early match against the Dragons has thrown up a bit of a problem. Because the match is being played on Saturday in February, most cheap flights on the 11th are around the £80 one way price bracket (Saturday being the ski holiday transfer day). If the match had been in late March, we would have been looking at £20 quid each way including tax.

Has anyone found a good deal on flights. The best I've omce up with is Blackpool->London Stansted->Perpignan and back at around £100 return. A fair amount of waiting around on the way back though.

What was the cost of the clubs chartered plane last season?

last year was £230 day return from Blackpool.

I am having same trouble, most cheap airlines do not start summer flights til March.
Catalan Sports Tours have a Web site but still awaiting my password response.
They supposedly have hired a jumbo to run trips to every fixture, flying from manchester or Bradford depending on the game, if any one gets logged on and has details please let me know

Somebody posted this elsewhere

Anybody who wants a real cheap flight can go from Blackpool to Girona on Thursday returning Sunday for £37.

But you'll have toget them booked very soon.
The price of the Liverpool flights are already starting to rise.

Ryan Air fly from liverpool to girona on friday at 5.40pm and return on sunday evening.

We have booked this and it has cost us £61 including 3 days travel insurance.

Get your transfer from girona from catalan sport tours for £23.

Booked hotel de la loge for 50 euro per twin room per night.

www.hoteldelaloge.fr

Total cost £140.

Very easy.

I hope that's not the flight with the players on else they're going to be shattered for the first game of the season!

I bet it will be, just as they did last year, really early start time to train then an evening kick off, last year was 3.00pm kick off. Is it better than having them all down there the night before? However its quite an expensive day out when you can go for the weekend for less!

If you don't mind me asking Mike, how much is it costing you? (per person).
