Wigan Warriors can confirm that Patrick Mago has signed a one-year contract extension to see him with the Club for the 2024 season, with an option in Wigan’s favour for a further year in 2025.
The 28-year-old joined the Warriors from South Sydney Rabbitohs ahead of the 2022 season and has made 54 appearances, scoring three tries.

On signing his contract extension, Patrick Mago said: “I’m really happy to have extended my contract. I’ve been here for the last two-years, I’m enjoying my footie and my time here so far – especially with the group of boys that we have.

“I love it here, the fans here are crazy and I’m pleased to be staying.”

Head Coach Matt Peet said: “Patrick has worked tremendously hard to secure this extension with the club. He and his family should be very proud.

“He is determined to build on his recent form and our expectations of him have been made very clear.

“Hopefully Patrick can become a Wigan player for many more seasons as he is a great personality and adored by everyone at the club.”

Cust must be going to make way for the big signing from down under, really hoping it's Victor Radley

Won’t have any more quota spots meds. Cust out Keighran in

All other quota players signed up for next season at least

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
