Wigan played four fixtures in the month of September, winning all four. A well-earned 26-8 victory over Salford Red Devils at the DW Stadium started the month, before an emphatic 50-0 win away at Leeds Rhinos followed.

The Warriors saw off Castleford Tigers on home soil with a 48-6 win before overcoming Leigh Leopards with a 10-6 victory on the final day of the Betfred Super League season to seal the League Leaders’ Shield.
