Rugby League 2 is a great game and loads of fun to play. Wigan squad needs to be updated but that doesn't take to long.

There are a few errors in the game like, Gareth Hock being 30 and the JJB have a capacity of 40,000 but the game plays well and it's really easy to edit.

Fun to laugh at the way Australians pronouce names like, Coley, Hargreaves and Kearney.

Maybe theyve seen the future where we need a 40,000 stadium and Gareth Hock is still here at 30.

Mike which system are u playing it on PC or PS2.

I'd give it about 7/10 in improvement

The graphics have been improved a lot in the cut-scenes although the in game graphics have been improved the camera angle makes them look the same as Rugby League 1.

The game play has changed quiet a bit it's harder to score tries which means sometimes games end 1-0. The forwards make more impact and the scoot feature is great. You can customize almost every aspect of the match including the rules, for example you can speed up are slow down the play to suit your style.

The franchise mode isn't that good, the video ref doesn't add much to the game, the international teams stats are wrong, the "pass to the player maker" action is a waste of time. The new passing system and try animations are good though and there are plenty of things to unlock.

its agreat improvement on the last game,yes it is harder to score tries but takes time to work out a system a couple of scoots a couple of hard yards by the forwards and then fling the ball ane prey.the rip out mode is good and you can get a few intreceptions when they throw the long ball.allso you dont get pulled up for a head high tackle much which i think was really anoying on the first game :eh: :exc:
