Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce the return of ‘Night Under The Lights,’ in association with The Brick, ahead of the 2024 Betfred Super League season.

The event gives you the chance to watch all of the available first team* train in an open session before a meet and greet with the players, as well as an opportunity for some last-minute late-night shopping at the Club store ahead of Christmas.

The event will take place at 6:30pm on Tuesday 19th December (Doors open at 5:30pm) with training expected to last around 35-40 minutes before the meet and greet session, which is expected to last until approximately 8:30pm.

Food and Drink will be available to purchase on the night from our on-site bar and food vendors.

This is a ticketed event and due to capacity, numbers are restricted so please make sure you book to confirm your place and to avoid disappointment.

Currently waiting for this open training session to start, watching in the stand. I’m interested in the following
1. How fit is Thompson
2. Has Miski got over the knock he took in the final
3. How intense contact wise Wigan train.
4. What sort of shape the international players are in.

Should be an interesting night see if we can learn anything

I stand corrected we aren’t going to learn anything from this, this the least intense and worst organised training session I’ve seen for many a day.

They have just interviewed Miski and Thompson, both seemed quite positive and ready for the season. Miski says he’s over the ACL which seems remarkably quick. Thompson says he’s been in every day training and is looking forward to the new season, neither gave many details but seemed quite upbeat

I think it was Miski's MCL not ACL. Thompson looked in good shape although it's difficult to know how the injury itself is progressing or whether it will prove to be a problem going forward of course. Mike Cooper said that he was hoping to be ready for the start of the season which is way ahead of schedule if it happens.

I don't think it was meant to be a proper training session. More a social event for the fans, on which score, I thought it was great. Our little girl loved it meeting all the players and getting pics and her shirt signed. She was buzzing afterwards :D

You don’t go to these things expecting to see a full training session they are nothing more than a meet and greet and you know that’s good enough for me

It’s not a full training session! It’s a chance for the fans to see the players & have autographs & photos taken with the players. They stayed until everyone had been seen, well after 10pm.

Well done to everyone, over 2000 attended 👏🏼👏🏼

We were at the front end of the queue, Josie, and said to a couple of the lads that there's no way you're getting through this lot in an hour! They knew they were in for a long night. Good on them staying so late. Hope they were still in good spirits by the end and everyone enjoyed the evening as we did.

Couldn't get there yesterday but very impressed to see that the players stayed so late to see everybody. That's the kind of behaviour that builds loyalty from the fans. Well done to everyone concerned.
