Wakey had 7,221 for their match v Bradford.

That's around 1,800 more than Huddersfield v Hull KR, where there'd be healthy away support, 1,150 more than Salford, and 937 less than Cats.

With the new stand, it looks like they're doing something right at Belle Vue.

Good on them. Bradford could bring a few with them and get out a few home fans to a number of Yorkshire teams that haven't seen them for a while. They were big matches for Yorkies.

i've chucked plenty of criticism Wakeys way over the last few years and the irony is that they seem to have gotten some things in place the year they got relegated, and to be fair, they may be better for that. Hopefully now, they've shown that they are willing to spend, and need to continue to do so

Fair play, as Huddersfield will probably not see an 8.5k gate any time this season which is a pity as they have the stadium, a chairman who has splashed the cash, but for some reason, they cannot pull the fans in which is a real shame as the cow bell gets on virtually everyones tits

To be fair, they have the office block/hospitality boxes at one end and a newish all-standing stand at the other. Away fans get the worst of it on the undeveloped side, bit that's common to other Yorkshire clubs - Leeds being the prime example. (Leeds can't develop the Western end due to the housing behind, but that doesn't mean they have to allocate it to away fans.)

Wakey, Cas, Hull KR, all in this category. Also Bradford when they were in SL (if you're old enough!). Hull and Huddersfield are ok, though in the latter case it's not hard to find room for 2,000 or more Wigan fans when your stadium is empty.
