Wigan squad for Sheffield

* 21-Player squad announced for Friday’s Betfred Challenge Cup Sixth Round tie against Sheffield Eagles, in association with Matrix Fitness.

* Matt Peet has made one change ahead of the Cup fixture.

* Wigan Warriors v Sheffield Eagles, Friday 22 March, 8pm K.O.

MATT PEET HAS SELECTED HIS 21-PLAYER SQUAD FOR FRIDAY NIGHT’S BETFRED CHALLENGE CUP SIXTH ROUND TIE AGAINST SHEFFIELD EAGLES.

The Warriors Head Coach has made one change to the 21-player squad he named for Wigan’s clash against Salford Red Devils last time out, as Jai Field is replaced by Kruise Leeming who returns from an ankle injury.

Tickets for the clash remain available to purchase online HERE or from the DW Stadium Ticket Office. Please note that only the East and West stands are open for this fixture and anyone Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

So field is carrying an injury or burnt out as they say.Probably a good call because we need him 100% for saints

Got a big game next week, don't rest anyone that is healthy and let's destroy Sheffield, It's payback time

Well we've certainly gone strong there. Thought we might see someone like Douglas given a debut or another game for Farrimond but can understand the need to give everyone a run out before next Friday.

Leeming needs a run out before GF, maybe O'Neil rested for Forber as well. Who plays FB do we reckon?

Id say hampshire - this to me is what hes here to do cover these sort of games - hes still a good level pro

Must not be tempted to put French at fullback as we need French and Smith in the halves and to be on the same page and firing ready for the Stains game.
