Coming up this week

Post by josie andrews »

* Three Warriors teams are in action this week.

* It’s Derby Day for both our First Team and Academy sides.

* Women’s Academy start their season as they host Warrington.

THREE WARRIORS TEAMS ARE IN ACTION THIS WEEK, INCLUDING OUR FIRST TEAM AND ACADEMY TEAMS WHO ARE IN DERBY ACTION.

Wednesday

Our Women’s Academy take on Warrington Wolves in their first outing of the season at Wigan St Jude’s this Wednesday (6:30pm K.O.).

Entry for the game is free, with donations welcome to Wigan St Jude’s.

Friday

It’s Derby Day on Friday as the Warriors take on St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium (3pm K.O.)

The Warriors will be looking to continue their fine form at the start of 2024 as they make the short trip to the Saints. Away tickets for the game are now sold out.

Saturday

It’s also Derby Day for our Warriors Academy on Saturday afternoon as they make the trip to Ruskin Drive this Easter Weekend (2:30pm K.O.)

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Wish they would list the scholarship and women's academy games on the website rather than announce them with a days notice.

Now up. Someone at the club obviously read the snotty email I sent them. Tonight's match, that due to late publicity I can't attend, wasn't even up on Tuesday under the fixtures sections for the team despite being on the main website. The new website is dire (but not as bad as the ticketing).

This evening’s Women’s Academy fixture against Warrington Wolves has been postponed.

The fixture will be re-arranged for a date later in the season
