HAVING spent almost two months away on loan, Brad Dwyer's departure from Warrington Wolves has now been made permanent.

It has been confirmed an agreement has been reached with Leigh Leopards to allow the hooker to become a full-time member of their squad ahead of their Challenge Cup quarter-final against Hull KR.

Having not featured in the cup as yet to avoid him being cup-tied should he have returned to Warrington, Dwyer will now be able to play in the rematch of last season's Wembley final.

Dwyer's return to The Halliwell Jones on a two-year deal was confirmed during the off-season in what was a full-circle moment for the 30-year-old, who came through the Warrington academy to make 88 first-team appearances before departing in 2017.

However, the signing of Sam Powell from Wigan pushed him down the pecking order and he was allowed to join the Leopards on loan after just one round of the new season.

He has made five appearances for Leigh to help them cover the injury absence of star dummy-half Edwin Ipape.

Think it was always on the cards Dwyer would leave Warrington asap. He should do well at Leigh
