Mike Danson in Private Eye.

The latest edition of Private Eye has a piece on Mike Danson of this parish. It's headed "Danson with the Tsars", and questions the relationship between his company, GlobalData, and a Moscow based company, Dbase.pro, which offers similar services to Russian companies and uses the same company logo as GlobalData.
A request for info to GlobalData from Eye apparently received no reply.

Mr Hislop will not let this go… has to be something more for them to open up this news… page 94 perhaps

Mike and Josie apologies this reply will be political but it is the reason for the Hislop article.
Danson has saved The New Statesman which is in competition with Hislop's Private Eye and is basically propping it up.
So if you want to turn anyone in this country evil just call them Russian supporters.

Thought Danson had something to do with a political magazine as for Hislop well he’s an acquired taste for sure but is like a dog with a bone as has been mentioned

Your idea that New Statesman and Private Eye are competitors is far-fetched. And whatever your views on Hislop, his case is stated clearly and can be checked.
If (and I stress iF) Danson has a case to answer about by-passing sanctions on Russia, then the fact that he owns "our" club, shouldn't make us automatically defend him.
Sport is sport, but life and death for is much more serious stuff.

Don’t see why,you’re quite correct Morley we as human beings shouldn’t automatically defend Samson if as you say if there’s anything untoward
