The pair have been cited for incidents in Sautrday's Super League clash with Warrington Wolves

Wigan Warriors look set to be without Adam Keighran and Tyler Dupree for the Challenge Cup Final after the pair were handed Grade D charges by the Match Review Panel. Keighran, who was sent off in Wigan's victory over Warrington on Saturday, has been banned for the tackle, while Dupree has been cited for an alleged 'headbutt' on former Warrior, Sam Powell.

As a result, both players are set to miss the Challenge Cup Final, although Wigan have a right to appeal in an attempt to overturn the charges. The Rugby Football League are set to publish the full list of charges from the weekend later this afternoon.

Wigan coach Matt Peet said the club would consider an appeal if Keighran was charged after admitting he had apologised to the centre following his post-match comments.

"Watching it back, I just don't think there's a lot Adam can do," Peet told Rugby League Live. "Junior (Nsemba) is in first and if you watch Adam, he doesn't do anything wrong really. Aaron drops after the initial tackle and unfortunately, he's low to the ground while Adam is travelling at speed.

Adam has been working on this tackle technique and that's why I was how I was after the game. But I got it wrong and that's the main reason I rang him today to apologise. What I said in the post-match was off."

Wigan Warriors pair suspended for Challenge Cup Final

WARRINGTON Wolves' Challenge Cup Final opponents Wigan Warriors have been beset by suspension issues ahead of Saturday's clash at Wembley.

As things stand, Wigan will have to plan without both Adam Keighran and Tyler Dupree after both were hit with suspensions at this morning's Match Review Panel sitting following incidents during Saturday's Super League game between the two sides.

Centre Keighran and prop Dupree have both been hit with three-match suspensions and £250 fines following Grade D charges, though Wigan do hold the option to appeal both charges.

Keighran was sent off for a high tackle on Wire youngster Arron Lindop during the closing stages of the game, and the panel have seen fit to charge the Australian with Grade D head contact.

Dupree is charged with a Grade D headbutt offence following an incident involving Wire hooker Sam Powell in the closing seconds of the first half which was missed by the on-field officials but picked up on TV cameras.

There is another charge for a Wigan player, with hooker Brad O'Neill cited for late contact on Josh Drinkwater after he had passed the ball, but the Grade A charge carries no ban and he is free to play at Wembley.

No Warrington players have been charged by this week's panel, with George Williams available again after serving a one-match suspension for a late hit on Catalans' Arthur Mourgue during The Wire's 16-8 win in France last weekend.

We move on and use it as motivation. Hill and Eckersley to get their chance in my view.

I hate stupid conspiracy theories so will only say that George Williams' convenient one-match ban last week and our three-match bans this time seem to be emitting a curious odour.

I'm assuming we go:
Field
Miski
Nsemba
Wardle
Marshall
French
Smith
Cooper
O'Neill
Thompson
Walters
Farrell
Ellis

Bench

Leeming
Havard
Mago
Hill (I wish) but it will probably be Byrne

Props might play in a different order but that's what we have.

Seems good to me, perhaps the only other option is to play Eckersley, but not too sure if he is OK in the right centre?
But Nsemba and Walters both toghether on the right side to run over Drinkwater and hopefully Williams :D

Just read the minutes. Nobody even cited from Warrington. How about that double tackle that nearly knocked Keighran's head off. Mmm 😡
