ON FRIDAY NIGHT, WIGAN WARRIORS WERE DELIGHTED TO TAKE THE CHANCE TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO MAKE UP THE ARMED FORCES COMMUNITY, FROM CURRENTLY SERVING PERSONNEL TO SERVICE FAMILIES, VETERANS AND CADETS FOR THEIR ROUND 15 BETFRED SUPER LEAGUE GAME AGAINST LONDON BRONCOS AT THE BRICK COMMUNITY STADIUM.
Over at the Robin Park Arena fan village fans were able to get kitted out with the Central Lancashire Parachute Regimental Association, see military vehicles and speak to representatives from the Royal British Legion and Reeva Support Dog Programme.
Whilst at The Brick Community Stadium the Royal Marines delivered the match ball by abseiling from the roof of the East Stand, currently serving personnel, veterans and cadets took to the field along with support dogs from the Reeva Programme before a stirring rendition of the Last Post was played followed by a minutes silence.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
