WARRINGTON Wolves can breath a sigh of relief after the release of this week's Match Review Panel findings.

The panel have opted against further action against Matt Dufty following his yellow card during the Round 19 victory at Wigan Warriors, meaning they will have their star full-back available for Hull KR's visit to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.

Dufty was shown a yellow card by match referee Liam Moore when he was deemed to have lifted Wigan winger Liam Marshall into a dangerous position having halted him as the last line of defence following a line break.

That meant The Wire had to finish the match with 12 men, but the game had long since been won and they completed a dominant 40-4 victory regardless.

Now, the Match Review Panel have decided the yellow card was sufficient punishment for Dufty, with no other Wire players featuring on this week's charge sheet.

I'd like to say I'm surprised about Dufty but remember who he plays for. It looked like a straight red and compared with the past Wigan bans - it's laughable.
As for Lisone? The panel is am embarrassment to a game that wants to protect its players and project a proper image.

Was that really high contact by Tariq Sims? I'm far from his biggest fan, but in this case it looked to me like a normal tackle, and the Hull player looked to be milking it. Hence Sims pulling him up, which of course got him into more trouble.

(to be clear, I do think pulling someone up is a stupid thing to do. It might be dangerous, and it will certainly put you, rightly, on the wrong side of the judiciary)

The Dufty incident was made worse by Marshall tucking his head under, not great from him.
Leeds players have done it in the past to make the tackle look worse than they are.
Yet again more playing to the video ref, far too much of it going on.
