Well, it's looking like Warringtons dayout in the sun was short lived.

Oliver Gildhart and Joe Burgess are still class though.

I e said all along wire look brittle and tonight is proving yet again when they come up against a decent strength side they get beat and yes I’m aware of Wigan’s capitulation last week but I stand by what I say

I agree. They put that much effort to beat us last week it’s shown up this week.

Wire not looking quite as effective when people aren’t lobbing interceptions into their wingers hands

They didn’t have to put too much effort in last week but I did sense there was a bit of ‘after the Lord Mayors show.

Check out the BBC Rugby League page. Right next to their report on the Wire game is an article by George Williams from the previous day.

He says "Going to St Helens and Wigan is always tough, and for the group the benefit has been more about belief. We were beaten by Wigan in the Challenge Cup final and then had a rough couple of weeks after that because of confidence, so we've got that belief back now."

Great to hear they got their belief back, but it seems to have gone straight out the back door!

Way forward, and I think the 2nd Hall no try was a very poor decision by the vid ref, Hall did not touch the ball for me. That said, decent game and probably good result for us as we have KR at home to come.
