Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

Somewhat suprising, lets take it the game v Leigh was much easier on the body than it could have been
I would have thought we would have seen Forber - maybe he needs another week?

Bad news for Leeds Rhinos with 3 issues as Wigan given big boost
Leeds Rhinos coach Brad Arthur has two problems to solve in the middle of the field ahead of Saturday’s visit of Wigan Warriors
Leeds Rhinos team news
Leeds will be without prop Mikolaj OIedzki after he aggravated a rib injury during last weekend’s defeat at Salford Red Devils and loose-forward/captain Cameron Smith is ruled out for the first time this year as he serves a one-match ban. Tom Holroyd remains on the casualty list with what is expected to be a season-ending concussion, so Rhinos are without both their first-choice front-rowers.
Justin Sangare is likely to be one of the starting props against Wigan, with either James Donaldson or Mickael Goudemand, who are both utility-forwards, also in the front-row
Arthur has drafted hooker Corey Johnson into his initial 21-man squad, which suggests Jarrod O’Connor will move from the substitute acting-half role to starting loose-forward. Winger David Fusitu’a is back in the 21 following two games on the sidelines with a calf muscle injury and Luis Roberts drops out.
Wigan Warriors team news
Wigan boss Matt Peet has named an unchanged squad from Tuesday’s 28-6 home win over Leigh Leopards. Jai Field has been restored to the Wigan Warriors squad for this weekend’s Super League trip to Leeds. The Australian was rested for the midweek victory over Leigh in the ‘Battle of the Borough’, but looks set to regain his full-back berth with Wigan looking to cement their position on top of the table.
Rhinos’ 21-man squad is: Lachie Miller, David Fusitu’a, Harry Newman, Paul Momirovski, Ash Handley, Brodie Croft, Matt Frawley, Andy Ackers, James Bentley, Rhyse Martin, Jarrod O’Connor, Sam Lisone, James McDonnell, Justin Sangare, Mickael Goudemand, Jack Sinfield, James Donaldson, Corey Johsnon, Alfie Edgell, Tom Nicholson-Watton, Ben Littlewood.
Warriors’ 21 is: Jai Field, Abbas Miski, Adam Keighran, Jake Wardle, Liam Marshall, Harry Smith, Ethan Havard, Liam Byrne, Liam Farrell, Kaide Ellis, Patrick Mago, Luke Thompson, Kruise Leeming, Tyler Dupree, Harvie Hill, Junior Nsemba, Sam Walters, Ryan Hampshire, Zach Eckersley, Jacob Douglas, Jack Farrimond.

Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
Best backline leeds have had out for weeks and they ate still moaning
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
Seems that way. They're missing a couple of props, and Cam Smith.
Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
Win this and that's a play-off place guaranteed.
Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
Despite it being the third game in a week and liam Moore reffing it I think we'll come through in the end.

Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
looking forward to tomorrow and forecasted dry day
i'd be tempted start with Eckersley and have Field on the bench and he can come on and cover FB or 6 to break play up a little when Leeds are tiring. If we play Field from the start, i think MP will have Eckersley on the bench as a precaution, so either way our bench will be different to the one that we had v Leigh
pack i'd go with Havard, Leeming, Thompson, Faz, Junior and Ellis, with Mago, Dupree and Walters on the bench

Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
For what it's worth, I'd go for the following team. My thinking would be to get this match won, see how the table pans out before giving Farrimond and Douglas a run when a top 2 spot is secured.
I'd also look to pull Thompson off and play Byrne as soon as we can get a 6 or 8 point lead. He may be superman, but less minutes now will keep him fresh for the play-offs.
1 Jai Field
2 Abbas Miski
26 Zach Eckersley
4 Jake Wardle
5 Liam Marshall
3 Adam Keighran
7 Harry Smith
8 Ethan Havard
17 Kruise Leeming
16 Luke Thompson
12 Liam Farrell
21 Junior Nsemba
13 Kaide Ellis
10 Liam Byrne
15 Patrick Mago
20 Harvie Hill
19 Tyler Dupree or 22 Sam Walter
18th man 23 Ryan Hampshire

Re: Wigan squad for Leeds (R21)
i agree Morley, get the game won, then we've a weeks rest til Saints at Magic
it feels like some strange choices to be made at the minute. Havard and Thompson give us such a solid start, and both capable of performing at that level for 80, but seems like the intensity drops when subs are made. i appreciate some games (v saints at home recently), it may be difficult to get up to speed so quickly in a game of that intensity, but we need to make the most of having our best prop rotation for many a year and make sure they are all contributing when they play. We all know that our props give us something different and will all have a big role to play before the end of the season, but as you said about Thompson, get his some rest over the next few weeks to ensure hes 100% fit come the business end
as an alternative would it be worth spelling Havard / Thompson together, with Byrne, Mago, Dupree, Hill, Cooper taking the other prop role between them over the next few weeks? that way we aint flogging our 2 best 80 minute props?
