Well done to Willie Peters for CotY

Great job finishing second, or first loser with his team this year.

Hard luck Matt Peet, improvements needed after a sub standard World Club Challenge, Challenge Cup, League Leaders, Super League Champions, Locker Cup…

The issue with this tag, much like that of Man of Steel is that a key phrase is excluded.

"By what measure?".

What more could Peet possibly have done?

I suspect he won't lose too much sleep over that.

(Similarly who would you rather have on your team, Bevan or the petulant child?)

I've got to give Lewis a wrap here. His team had just been beaten in a GF and yet he still had the decency to applaud the Wigan fans and sign autographs on his way off the field.

It just highlights the flaw with when the award is actually voted for and awarded. I think I mentioned on another thread that if Rovers had won last night it would be absolutely ridiculous if Peters hadn't won coach of the year. And, since Wigan won, it's now absolutely ridiculous that Matt Peet hasn't won coach of the year.
It's literally an award for the best coach in Super League that's awarded before the most important part of the season has even taken place.

Agreed. Lewis had a good game (although really, can't Peters find a better goal-kicker?), and French's try was, if anything, more Parcell's fault than his.

What is it with Leeds? Getting rid of one of their best players, and replacing with...
