Prospective new Castleford Tigers owner Martin Jepson has dropped a clear hint over the club’s final IMG score ahead of the revealing of the gradings for 2025 next week.

Jepson has an option agreement in place to purchase the shares owned by the Fulton family before January next year, which would make him the club’s majority shareholder with over 95 per cent of the Tigers‘ shares.
"Jepson that he felt there was ‘every possibility’ the Tigers could secure Grade A status this year: and Love Rugby League understands the Tigers are incredibly close to that mark and could indeed surpass it next Wednesday."

Unless this club, Castleford, along with Wakefield & dare I say Leeds, haven’t improved the facilities for away supporters, how can they possibly gain Grade A or A+ status?

Are they so deluded? 🤨

Is that part of the grading?

Don’t know, don’t think so as none of those clubs have done anything to improve away fans facilities!

Castleford's ground is an utter dump!
The idea they could obtain a Grade A is just laughable and if they do people will laugh.

The gap between those of us who pay to watch Rugby League and those who do not pay seems to be widening each year.
Castleford's ground doesn't offer anything like the facilities a twenty first century stadium should.
They shouldn't be any higher than a Grade D if there is such a grade.

Dreadful place, absolutely dreadful!

Apart from cover from the weather the Leeds ground is better than the Brick for me. That because of the fan area with all the activities and food vans.

The brick still has nothing around it unless you go squash yourself in Robin park.

The concrete steps in the away fans end are bloody dangerous! Breaking up full of weeds! No proper car parks for away fans.

What activities? Food vans are similar at the Brick &only because the pitch has been being replaced is that there hasn’t been outside facilities at Robin Park!

Leeds are the RFL darlings & will always be given preferential treatment regarding neutral venue for games or for internationals.

I remarked earlier in the season that The Jungle may be a dump, but the food and drink options are way better than at Wigan.

Food and drink at The Brick is poor. I went to see baseball in San Diego a few weeks ago, terrible game, but they don't half know how to do food and drink . I expect similar when we go to Vegas. Best I've seen in UK has been at Tottenham,

Robin park has huge queues and a burger van. We really could up our game in this area, we certainly are nowhere near the best.

The brick doesn't have food options though.

At the Leeds wigan came Leeds had a rugby activity game directly through the gates, a play area, a pizza van, multiple coffee vans then outside the away area a coffee van, burger van, fish and chips this is ignoring the actually stadium catering.

The brick has.... a burger van occasionally 2. Then the worst bar in the world to get served at in robin park.

I don't like Leeds but they do set a standard on what facilities we should have at the brick, annoyingly we use to. I remember when they always had mini games outside, even a farm once :) it's.just stopped for some reason.
