WIGAN WARRIORS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ARE PROUD TO BE PARTICIPATING IN THE RFL’S FIRST-EVER WEEK OF SOCIAL IMPACT.

Our own, The Brick Community Stadium, became the epicentre of both thrilling international rugby league and a significant milestone in the joint social impact mission that our Wigan Warriors Community Foundation share with The Rugby Football League.

At half time of England’s opening Test win against Samoa, supporters were shown a glimpse of what the campaign involves alongside an interview with Warriors prop forward Tyler Dupree, who is an ambassador for the RFL Community Trust.

Rugby League is far more than just a sport; it has an outstanding community that surrounds it.

This week our Community Foundation are delighted to be a part of the first-ever Week of Social Impact driven by the RFL. Our Community Foundation have worked tirelessly towards our social impact goals, and this week is set to put a spotlight on the previous and current work taking place in our community.

The inaugural Week of Impact has come following the announcement of the RFL Community Trust which will be dedicated to furthering the sport’s social impact goals, working hand-in-hand with the Governing Body, ourselves and other Rugby League Charitable Foundations.

Wigan Warriors look forward to working with The RFL Community Trust to further our social impact goals and serve our community.
