Luke Littler stadium part deux

i know the other thread has been locked, so have created this but more around what its actually achieved and the interest that it has generated, nationally which is something that we've been discussing across other threads for quite a while
Yes, we can probably all think its a gimmick / stupid / WTF etc etc, but take a look what the marketing manager has posted on linked in and what Warrington have achieved out of it
Is renaming the stadium for one game a bit gimmicky? Yeah, of course it is.
But within an hour, it was on every national news outlet. Millions of people got a Sky Sports News notification about it. Halliwell Jones (the real masterminds here) got the media exposure equivalent of three years’ sponsorship in a day. BY NOT SPONSORING THE STADIUM FOR A GAME.
But the real story? This is a homecoming. If Luke Littler were an Olympian, no one would bat an eyelid at a civic reception. No one questions it when 15,000 people gather in front of the Golden Gates after a Challenge Cup win. Luke’s done something phenomenal - and where better for Warrington to celebrate than a Wire home game?
We've played the PR game, sure. But first and foremost, it’s about recognising a local lad who’s done something special. See you there.
