Was this the most famous drop ever goal from o'Brien, or was it the one he scored some years ago to send HKR down in the relegation playoff against Salford if a failing memory isn't failing me?
My money is on the relegation golden point. Either way both are stories his grandchildren could be hearing about regularly.

I think the Million Pound game where he won Salford the game who stayed in SL and HKR were relegated.
Thought that might be the most significant.
Last night will go down in the folklore of Leigh but perhaps not as significant as the drop goal for Salford.

Agreed Ted,the million pound game kick as a kick under all sorts of pressure last night, not so much
