I really hope he clears up the ruck area. Against Leigh he was allowing both sides to slow everything down

Well we can't have it all ways, can we? Kendall was praised in Vegas for letting the game flow, but that means a slower ruck. If refs are vigilant in clamping down, fans complete about continuous whistle-blowing. And of course, the only real solution is better discipline by the players. In the NRL, they keep stats of the speed of the p-t-b, in seconds. I'd like to see similar here. with some kind of guidelines for refs.

That would be pretty interesting reading. It's a balancing act for referees to keep the flow. If you don't penalise then teams will push it more and more and the game will slow down like we saw on the opening night. You don't want to see penalty after penalty though
