Reinforcements?

Assuming that we may have a couple of players missing over the next week or so I was wondering if anybody has information/views about any of the following?
a) Why didn't Sam Eseh or Jack Farrimond play for the reserves on Saturday?
b) I see that Jacob Douglas scored twice against saints. Is he ready for a game if we need him?
c) How did Hirst go against saints? Is he likely to figure for the first team this season or is Taylor Kerr more likely to get a game?

First of all Sam Eseh JR is on a season long loan at Hull FC so wouldn’t have been able to play in the Reserves, but was cup tied yesterday anyway.
Not sure about Jack think he has a bit of a knee/leg problem.
Jacob Douglas has already played for the first team so he may feature next week with him on the wing.
Taylor Kerr is ready IMO. Didn’t really notice Hirst until he got sent off.

Eseh has signed for hull on loan.Douglas is a left winger but hopefully is just as good on the right.Ide love to see kerr given a chance at loose as i think we are a bit slow around there with ellis.D on t get me wrong ellis is great but we can definitely speed things up there.Only problem i can see is kerrs lack of size atm.I can see farromond playing at leeds unless we give hodkinson a chance for jai.Theres plenty scope but hopefully we dont play anyone that isnt 100% fit

I’ve moreorless said all that

Been told today that Bevan hadn’t trained all week. Don’t know how true as I didn’t see any players after the game.

Thanks for that, didn't know that Sam had gone on loan. I hope Jack's going to be O.K. he seems to have carried that knee problem over from last season. I can believe that Bevan hadn't rained all week, he didn't seem his usual self, perhaps another carry over from the vegas trip. I know a few people who came back with flu-like symptoms.

Loads of my friends & a couple of players I’m friends with have been the same. It’s all the air conditioning IMO!

Kerr was Wigan’s best player in the reserves match.

As it looks likely we will have Adam and Jai off for a good few weeks how do we reorganise?
Move Zak to his more natural position at centre seems obvious but he also covered well at FB.
Who can go to FB if Zak plays at centre or vice versa?
The next two with 1st team experience are Farrimond - has he played FB in the academy? Assume Douglas will only get a game if Miski is out still.... I think we have a rated FB in the reserves at the moment but not sure how far off he is for the 1st team ?
Not a fan of moving Bevan to FB but swapping him for Farrimond is also an option.
We obviously missed Jai's underrated work in defence big time on Saturday. Not only his pace one on one - I doubt Martin would have scored if he was still on, but also organisation.

Bevan surely should stay at 6?
Keep the forwards as they are, interchanging as they do.
Half backs to stay the same.
As fans we don't know the injury set up. Reasonable to think Jai and AK will miss out but we don't know if Miski will be fit to play. The disciplinary details aren't out yet so we could be affected by that.
I do think MP will go with Zac at FB, we shall see!

Just catching up today - wasn't sure who he was to begin, Hirst came on as a prop replacement due to injury and looked good as a prop. Kerr ran our attack and made a really good break for a try. Douglas worked hard and finished off two tries. Hodkinson had a quiet game for him but did still create a try for Douglas.
