Wigan squad for Leeds (SLR5)

* 21-player squad announced for our Betfred Super League visit to Leeds Rhinos, in association with Matrix Fitness.

* The Warriors have made one change to their squad for the trip to West Yorkshire.

MATT PEET HAS NAMED HIS 21-PLAYER SQUAD FOR SATURDAY’S BETFRED SUPER LEAGUE ROUND FIVE VISIT TO LEEDS RHINOS.

The Warriors head coach has made one change to his squad as Abbas Miski returns to replace Adam Keighran, who is set to miss the next few months after suffering a knee injury last time out.

Even if he was fit it doesn’t mean he will play.

Jai??? Am I alone in thinking this suggests that the hamstring tightness wasn’t a full blown tear? 🤞🤞🤞🤞

No you are not but I suppose we will need to wait and see what damage he has done, if any.

It is either that they are still waiting on further scan etc. and therefore why not name him in the team as either mind games or just in case, but who would they add to the team that may get called up, highly unlikely naming one of the academy in the match day 21, who is probably a few seasons away from a first team appearance, that they would be called into the first team, it may give the academy player a boost to be named in the 21 man squad though.

While I’m,for a little while cutting back to away trips this is a game I’d have gone to but no I’m going with my wife to see Jason Donovan instead :shock: oh well let’s hope for a decent result

Win today we go 2nd with Leigh and hull kr playing each other, hope we are back to the previous solid defence, going to be raining, headingley is one of the worst for treatment of away fans. Breaking out the rain jacket
