To be fair to Dodd, he's not had much of a shot so far. I remember when Dom Young first got in the Newcastle side. He was terrible! For quite a few games, and I think it was only their injuries that meant he had a decent run in the first team. He made good in the end, but I reckon he was a little fortunate to get that extended chance to start.

I rather suspect that contract he got was a little overboard it’ll be interesting to see if he can make it because he’s been fairly useless the last couple of years at saints
