Hull FC have made a huge play to bring Newcastle Knights half-back Will Pryce back to Super League.

Pryce is off contract at the end of the NRL season and Hull are understood to have offered him an impressive package to sign terms for the 2026 season and beyond. The Black and Whites have already made a number of signings for next season with Joe Batchelor and James Bell thought to have signed, while Hull Live have reported deals for Harvie Hill and Connor Bailey, too.

Well, Serious About RL has been made aware that Pryce could be about to join that list in what would be another huge boost for the west Hull outfit as they look to re-establish themselves as a challenger at the top end of Super League.

Pryce has been with the Knights since leaving Huddersfield Giants at the end of the 2023 Super League season. In that time his first grade game time has been limited with the half making just five appearances in the NRL for the Knights.

Those outings came towards the end of last season, with the half even managing to get over the line on his debut for the club against Parramatta Eels. Most of his game time has come with the Knights’ New South Wales Cup side, though, with 19 appearances coming in the second string side.

He has scored seven tries in that time, with 17 try assists coming along the way, too, underlining just what he is capable of.
The 22-year-old, who won’t turn 23 until December, started his career with the Giants, coming through the youth system at the club before emerging into the first team as a teenager in 2021.

He made 46 appearances during his time in the side for the Giants, scoring 17 tries and racking up 192 points with 62 goals included. If he does make the move to re-join the game in the Northern Hemisphere, he will hope to return a more rounded player after spending two seasons in the Knights ranks.

Hull FC do have an opening at half-back, having released Jordan Abdull before a ball had been kicked earlier in the season. Aidan Sezer has been one of the stand out performers in Super League this season, while Cade Cust has performed well alongside him. Cust was signed for his versatility, though, with the Australian able to play hooker and stand-off and that could be an option for him moving forward.

Blighted with injuries though isn’t he say what you like about Myler soon got rid in no uncertain terms once it became clear they’d be carrying him

i'd like to see Hull's cap at the minute

they just seem to be signing players left right and centre, but then let players go?? Surely, if a player is contracted the contract cant just be terminated without agreement from both parties, and if thats the case then surely Hull must be paying up most if not all of that contract. If the player goes somewhere else, then i can see that is more likely to be mutual, as long as the players contract matches what they were on at hull, if not, then surely Hull must be paying out for them

i read an article before the season and they had told about 6 players who were contracted that they were no longer wanted, and surely they cant just get rid

His career reminds me of Marvin Golden for some reason
