Heaney played less than 20 games of RL....... I'd say it would be very hard to prove causation , especially as he would have headed a ball playing soccer. Someone needs to be strong here...

Without doubt the high ups (if anyone is letting the Rfl of course)are rightly frightened on this lawsuit because if successful then the sport itself will be gone

I've said for a long time I wonder if there is a loophole to avoid the game collapsing because of litigation. If there's no 'RFL' so to speak and the game is ran by a separate entity (NRL/'League 13' as a rebrand or the like) then who are the ex-leeches, sorry players, going to scavenge from?
