Loan and Dual Reg Report

Post by josie andrews »

Four Warriors were in loan and dual registration action over the Easter Weekend.

Sam Eseh Jr, Tiaki Chan and Harvey Makin made Betfred Super League appearances.

Lukas Mason put in a Player of the Match appearance on loan for Oldham.

FOUR WARRIORS WERE IN LOAN AND DUAL REGISTRATION ACTION ACROSS BETFRED SUPER LEAGUE AND BETFRED CHAMPIONSHIP ACTION.

Hull FC 14-28 Hull KR

Sam Eseh Jr came off the interchange bench as Hull FC fell to defeat on Good Friday against rivals Hull KR.

Hull FC found themselves 16-4 down at the break, but put on a second half comeback to get within two points of the visitors before the Robins pulled away in the final stages to secure the 14-28 victory in Rivals Round.

Sam Eseh Jr is sponsored by Elite Performance Sports Massage.

Catalans Dragons 38-10 Salford Red Devils

Tiaki Chan started at Prop whilst Harvey Makin was on the interchange bench for Salford Red Devils who face Catalans Dragons away on Saturday afternoon.

Salford were 16-0 down at half-time in Perpignan but two second half scores from Jonny Vaughan and Wigan loanee Tiaki Chan got the Red Devils on the scoreboard. Chan made the space in the build-up to Vaughan’s effort before getting over himself, crashing onto Mellor’s short ball to cut back inside and score.

Catalans, inspired by a Tommy Makinson hat-trick, took the 38-10 victory.

Tiaki Chan is sponsored by Evergreen Accountants and Harvey Makin is sponsored by Leisuretec UK.

Widnes Vikings 10-10 Oldham

Lukas Mason started at second row as Oldham played out a draw away at Widnes Vikings. The young forward was named Player of the Match on his loan debut.

Oldham opened the scoring through Mo Agoro, with Mason going close shortly afterwards, only to be denied by a last-ditch tackle from Danny Langtree to put Oldham 4-0 ahead at the turnaround.

Oldham scored again after the restart for 10-0 but Widnes fought back in the second half with a double from Rhodri Lloyd to level the scores for a 10-10 draw.

Lukas Mason is sponsored by Bithells Waste Management.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
