Hastings' big mate from Salford, Ian Blease, is the CEO at Leeds Rhinos.
Good luck with that one!

Is it me or do Leeds just seem to sign anyone who fancies joining them?

Seems that way funny enough I can see Rowley ending up there when Arthur decides enough is enough as for Hastings they’re welcome to him him and Connor in the same team Jesus wept neither of them passing to anyone but themselves would be a sight to see

I believe there were issues between Bateman and Hastings during their time at Wigan. Why Adrian Lam failed to deal with either or both players is a mystery to me (and probably always will be). Costing Lam his position as head coach whilst suffering the ignoble end - losing to a very poor Leeds outfit at home with yet another abject performance.
I can't fault Hastings, he was trying his best in what was for me, some of the worst rugby from a team that I have ever witnessed by the Warriors. Bateman however, was never the same after his return from Canberra and was anonymous in comparison.
Toxic?! Blame whoever allowed this to manifest and failed to deal with it.
Didn't Mossop have to leave due to an issue with Bateman at the horse races? I think "toxic" is a word better suited to Bateman than Hastings Josie
Hastings is a quality super standard league player who lacked the pace for the NRL. He will be a more than an adequate replacement for Frawley at the rhinos

Both Hastings (which this thread is about) & definitely Bateman too when he came back from Canberra. He was given the number "13" shirt & it was the first time in 20 plus years I never had 13 on the back of my shirt!

Leeds have a great opportunity to fast track their recovery and squad building but now being linked with Hastings is a step backward.
Loiners won’t like that in the south stand

I think Hasting's history at the various clubs he's frequented in Australia - I think all with him being a very expensive reserve player speaks for itself.
