haha maybe the beards are to make them look, what is the word, ruggid?? maybe to sike out the rhinos. as for long well.......the pictures tell the story.

MrsLam:This isn't RLfans, there's really no need to insult a player because of his choice of hair. Leave out the swearing whether its blanked or not, we can still tell what it says as can the younger generation.

and to prove that you at least know what you are talking about John Wilkin on T'Superleague Show said the same as well as saying what a great relief it was to have been able to shave his beard off!

Probably a good job it wasn't the Wigan players who came up with that idea, before the end of the season they could have been in Cuba as Al Qaeda agents

I think Long would like us all to view him as the 'David Beckham' of the rugby league world. Unfortunatley he's more like the 'David Blunket' of rugby league.

I sincerely doubt there are Al Quaeda agents in Cuba. It would be very bad for the tourist trade, which is all that that poor little island has to offer the world these days. Plus Fidel isn't too hot on promoting religion, organised religion could be considered a rival to his power and a focus for dissent, and terrorists blowing things up in the name of Islam would be as unwelcome there as any other sensible country.
