Civil war!

In all my years of watching rugby this is the first time i have ever seen a Wigan crowd so upset that they actually turned on each other! I was in the East Stand and two seperate groups of Wigan supporters, started bad mouthing one another and it mearly ended up in a mass physical brawl in the stand! I think this sums up the mood and anger the fans have at present. I hate to say this, but i feel attendances will start slipping after hearing peoples reactions and comments of late!

The fans passions were running high today and it's not surprising. They paid to get in and watch that utter crap in cold, wet conditions. Strange though, in the south stand the crowd fell silent rather than angry. Don't even think it was shock, it was just a completely uninspiring game. I don't think attendances will start slipping just yet though, if people have got the same mentality as me they'll still go (stupidly) but they'll expect an improvement.

That's a very cheap shot mate when everyone is upset about the performance tonight. A bit like rubbing salt in the wound. Is there any need for that?

to be quite honest, whats good for the town is good for me

but when rugby fans have to lie to down grade latics it gets on my nerves, pedro, the fighting at the evrton game was because of the away fans in the home end making idiots of themselves.

Anyway, good luck this year, as much abuse as I have give you, I wouldnt wish relegation on you, you are WIGAN after all

plenty of trouble outside aswell 37 arrests according to police intel for the game. No arrests just evictions re - everton fans in home end - trust me i know more than you think on the matter.

Oh yeah! I forget! Latics never lose. Hmmm...

December 14th 2005 - 4-0 vs. Manchester United
February 26th 2006 - 4-0 vs. Manchester United - Carling Cup Final
March 6th 2006 - 2-1 vs. Manchester United

How did 2-1 feel? Own goal was it, yes? Chimbonda, I believe. Yes, your big cult hero. Thanks for the memories, Pascal. :)
