Oh what a wonderfull day

Post by primrose-n-blue »

I hear singing but there's no-one there,
I smell blossom but the trees are bare.
All day long I seem to walk on air,
I wonder why? I wonder?
:o

Oh what a great feeling it is to be a WIRE.

It's ashame your all taking the gloss off our win yesterday buy saying how bad you are.

I think you did a lot right.
For the first 34 mins we never got into your half with the ball in hand.
It was only through a mammoth effort of defence, we kept it down to 6 points to you in the first half.
You could have quite easily run up a 24-nil lead in that time.

Ian :eusa16: "how do I get a win?"
Mo :eusa10: "O'heavenly father.."

thanx Mike.
I know some tentions are running high, so I thought i'd let a few of you sleep it over before I showed my face, as i didn't want to provoke really.
A little friendly banter, that's all.

hurrah i am glad someone picked up on this. you only did drop goals because you wanted the ball back. time wasting is very un sportsman like and briers is a fat waste who only has one side to his game in my eyes........kicking.

They can also score tries and convert them from the touchline!

A win is a win.

Would you be saying the same if the roles were reversed?

who cares if their tactics are union like - they won.

Right now I wouldn't care if we played one out football wearing ballgowns as long as we got the result.

However I am sure that a complete reshuffle of the team is what is needed...

I may not think Wire are anything special, to be honest I think SL is mediocre but hey they won and deserved to. It is no good us carping at them. We have serious problems of our own.

As for Briers, be fair he is a talented attacker and an excellent kicker. His defence is a bit weak. However, he has some merits which is more than can be said for our halfbacks.

So far this season, our half backs have been outplayed by Stacey Jones, Rob Burrow, Danny McGuire, Chris Thorman, Robbie Paul, Andrew Dunemann, Luke Robinson and Lee Briers.
Don't worry, though, there's a long way to go - we've still got Harris, Deacon, Cooke, Horne, Hooper, Long & Jeffries to come.
