Poor lad - what a sickener! The longer this goes on, the less likely it seems he'll be as promising as he was.

He must be gutted. He is one player who I would have expected to be busting a gut for the cause.

I hope he can make a full recovery. I did read somewhere that once stress fractures heal the bone is stronger than before so lets hope it does heal and that is true.

He has only ever been promising and maybe it's time for a decision on this player's future.

Before he broke into the first team he was injury prone and my gut feeling goes with Geoff, he will never make the player that he promised to once be.

Would he make the first team if fit?

I get the impression Millward rates him so I think assuming he went OK in an U21 match he would be given a chance in the first team.

In 6 weeks time will iot be the same old story .. if it is (here's controversy) should iot not be time for Wigan to cut their losses & get someone else ... there's many forwards wigan have missed out on becasue of waiting on youngsters to come thro
(andy coley, andy lynch, danny ward, korkidas) also this will be another £20k for a 1/2 back (leuluai from quins would do me)

its bad news is this. do you think this is due to rushing him back, he was gonig to play against cas wasn't he? thats another injury and the pack is getting weaker. we are even playing kev brown there now!

i dont think he's been rushed, it was only mentioned as a maybe dependent upon specialist results ... unfortunately its not to be the case = just bad injuries that take time = time we dont have. not necessarily makin pack weaker coz we've not had him anyway!!
it may be time to cut losses
