Andy Farrar is our defence coach and has been for the last 2 seasons. Does no one agree with me that maybe he has some questions to answer? Our go forward is good we have scored alot of points we just don't seem to be able to keep the opposition out! :eusa16:

IIRC he was promoted to Assistant Coach upon Betts' departure. It should be remember that he and Millward have worked together in the past so should be a decent team, and all the rest of the backroom staff have been brought in for Millward, so if there are things not working behind the scenes then Millward is still the one who's got to carry the can.

Do you not think there is something wrong with the players at Wigan? I remember the last great team and boy did they have some difficult characters but with the exception of the Cas RT Final Dorahay debacle they always pulled together and pulled for the club because they loved being winners.
Strikes me we keep changing coaches etc but somewhere there is a festering cancer that turns players arriving to Wigan either as youngsters or seasoned professionals into lazy prima donnas who do not care enough about winning or losing.
Defence epitomises the pride of a team, it's true heart. Bad defence = poor players with no drive and determination! I am rapidly reaching the conclusion our players need an overhaul as regards the ethos of the club.

Correct. Millward isn't blameless but the team must be accountable also.
