Just a couple of points about todays game:-

1. our problems are not over yet.still a lot of work to do especially after the first halfs display

2. Referee had a splendid game. Good to see those two decisions ie throwing the ball away and stepping of the mark to play the ball both correct and brave decisions.

3. That plonker on the BBC was appalling didnt know the names of any of his studio guests doubt he even knew it was rugby league

4. One or two players stood up today but my man of the match was calderwood took us up the field 3 or 4 times at crucial parts of the match

5. The best part of the day was undoubtedly the pictures from the dressing room after the match which showed we do have team spirit after all.

All in all nothing to write home about but it took a lot of bottle to come back from over 20 points down WELL DONE the whole team....

I bet you thought that you'd never see yourself typing that about a referee, "he had a splendid game". But I would have to agree with you, I thought that Kirkpatrick refereed that game today to the best of his ability, and well done to him for doing so.
