A trend developing here

Post by ian.birchall »

First we are led to believe we are signing Gasnier but it turns out we sign Vaealiki,
Then we think we are signing Mason and it turns into a Salford reserve player, then we are going to sign another top player in Solomona and he becomes a second division player, the trend is clear, lots of hot air and then a bigger letdown each time.

Il n'y a rien de mal a ça mais il est difficile de penser à autre chose.

They made an offer for Solomona, it was refused. We need cover for inured players, everyone who you and the rest of us would want is under contract. What exactly would you do Ian ? you seem to post slating everything that Millward does, so Einstein, what would you do different ?

If Ian Millward gets sacked, maybe Ian should put his name into the hat for the post of Head Coach. It is obvious he knows everything that goes on behind the scenes and could probably do a better job than Millwards proven track record suggests. So much for getting behind the tream, there are probably a handful of people on this site (it that many) that know how to coach and run one of the biggest Rugby Clubs in the World.

The fact is the guy we signed(James) has signed until the end of the season. I cant see any real risk at all, the player will be on peanuts, doesnt take up a salary cap place a will be released at the end of the season. Theres nobody else to sign, not from Super League or the NRL anyway.
