What a disgraceful state of affairs. We are now a laughing stock. I'm getting loads of mickey takin from latics fans at work, 'givin us payback for all the abuse we used to give them in the 80's'.
I can't believe how our fortunes have turned around in the last 10 years. Latics future is secure. We looked doomed. All the kids in our street are wearin latics kits, used to be rugby tops 10 years ago.
The end is nighe !!

Naffs you off, doesn't it !
"Little Wigan" always on't telly, team of the season, manager of the year, blah, blah blah.
I spend Saturday afternoons, stopping the bums from parking at'front of mi house. Can't move when there at home.
I think fishing is now more popular than rugby in Wigan. It's just a good job that our catchment area spreads far and wide. I would personally like to thank all those supporters who travel from far and wide, every game.

Coming on here giving the latics fans claims even more credibility by agreeing with them. Your point is ? This is a rugby board, not a Latics v Warriors popularity board. Topics like this are pretty pointless in my view.

wigan will always be a rugby town. the first time i was ever in wigan[1978 i think]i came to watch the latics,i ended up at cetral park by mistake this was where it began for me.yes the latics are doing well at the moment and good luck to them but to anybody from outside of wigan it is regarded as a rugby town.

Their success does not effect us, its great to see a local team do well! I have a load of family all over the place and they all know Wigan as a rugby town.
