And a camera crew all there too see it!!!

Ok maybe not a camera crew, but it must have been a camera from either BBC or Sky from recording the match.

Some Wigan fans were singing as everyone was leaving the ground, and the St.Helens fans didn't seem to like it that we were still happy, despite losing.

Anyways, these girls who looked as though they were in there 20's, and were pretty chavved up, started hitting and scrapping with Wigan fans and it all kicked off from there! Some young Saints lads tried to drag the girls away to stop them from kicking off even more but they ended up just joining in because they couldn't stop them. There were people getting kicked and stamped on whilst on the floor, even a copper was getting kicked aswell. WTF is going on?!? That's 2 weeks in a row where there has been fighting at a game!

I had the same thread locked on rlfans, because they don't want a thread on it every week, yet they'll hve threads about where they are meeting for drinks every week, and the same repetative crap about Brian Noble...

sad fact of life but most crowds will have a bad eliment within, it,s hard for the clubs to deal with but something must be done before someone gets hurt real bad.the last thing we want is to be herded about by the cops like football supporters

There were people hurt, there was at least one person passed out on the floor.

There were no cops at first, it all happened in the middle of the road outside. There had already been punches thrown and scuffling before the copper came to try and break it up, then he got punched and knocked on the floor by quite a few people before a few more copper came. There were a couple of "security stewards" knocking around, but did nothing! Just stood there with hands in pockets.

Rob - Please don't swear Kat

it,s a hard thing to deal with . i,ve been caught in many a full scale riot at football matches here in belfast.one last year involved a crowd on the pitch throwing bricks and bottles in a stand containing a lot of women and kids again the cops did nothing for a full 20 minutes

I have never been to R in umpteen years after I was nearly dragged into a fight and we are going way back. The gotes were miraculously closed at the Wigan / Away end so we were forced to run around to the clubhouse side which shock horror was still open. Anyway we got in but stayed in front of the clubhouse. When some Saints fans cottoned on we were Wiganers they started being abusive. Withstood it until around 60+ minutes when this drunk imbocile 'accidentialy' showered me with spit whilst abusing Wigan etc. So he got a quick boot in the balls.

I also had to stop 2 Saints fans in their 20's attacking a 70 year old Wiganer after Murrayfield.

Sorrybut the great rugby league family bull has not washed with me for umpteen years. I avoid Saints fans like the plague too.

I'm a bit worried about Hull and Salford... never been to Hull but I'm going in 2 weeks and i was at Salford earlier this season and the amount of drunk chavs kicking off was disgraceful. Even the 30-40 year olds were joining in

me and my dad are in the police and we stopped a 60+ year old getting leathered of a warrington chav....was sorted though. Was a reminder of the 70's when there were lots of trouble at rugby.

Didnt see any today Saints were non existant like always.

GREAT SUPPORT TODAY!
