PA system

Apparently we've got the best PA system in the world. I think we really need to make more of it. When ya go to finals or a few years ago at finals the entertainers before the match would always like start off mexican waves or start songs and get the fans singin right from the start, we dint need that yesterday but I think it would be a good idea throughout the season if that guy at half time was on at the beginnin makin the fans sing, I dunno maybe it wouldn't work but I love the atmosphere when everyones shoutin at the same time. ill shush now.

We do have an ok PA system compared to some but i dont know if youve ever been to any Grand Finals? Old Traffords is awesome and the guy on the mic is excellent at creating a good atmosphere.

Why Whelan didnt get Bose in to do a proper job with the speakers ill never know.Theres no need for those huge boxes hanging from the roof and Bose could of got ten times better sound from a hidden sound system with speakers no bigger than your hand and a hidden base module somewhere in the roof
The sound would hit you from every angle!.

Yah,sorry about that,i got a bit over excited about Bose speakers lol!

Anyways, your right, the guy on the mic whos name escapes me needs to do a bit better before the game than just play music.I suppose it all comes down to bad marketing.

Would just like to say that the atmosphere on sunday was fantastic from start to finish.

I think though that we do need some1 to get things going b4 the game at the jjb.

It was fantastic how the drummers and singers sat in the middle as it got every1 around them going as well. At the jjb there doesnt ever seem to be an atmosphere going (mind u think that with mcalpine being more enclosed it keeps in noise).

Claire balding also made reference to all the wigan fans saying that although alot dont tend to travel to games when they are not favourites to win they were making alot of noise for the team.

P.S loved the "all we want is a decent referee" and think that a couple of the players liked it as well cos the ones infront of me had a smerk on their faces when we were singing it to the ref.

hehe i kno yea I was watchin em while we were singin that, sundee was ace, wit the jjb tho we all seem be spread out n me mum n dad were sayin this too, its not jus that some people dont sing n shout its that they dont want you singing n shoutin either, we'v sat near a few people who've looked at us like " WTF dya think ya doin shoutin for ya team?!?!?" it'd be ace if everyone joined in like they did on sunday.
I think the players really appreciate it when we sing like that, like last year at the CC final, we were out numbered but never out sung n personally think thats what matters.

Our guys are going to need us to sing our hearts out on good friday to do the job against stains with lots of our players out injured. It is always such a massive occasion when we play them, we really should get behind the lads more than ever.It does make a HUGE difference.
