Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Pah! Can he not think of his own ideas now instead of stealing them from sites like this one?

I think with hindsight everyone see's giving lockers captancy was a questionnable decision i think theres no doubt lockers could be a fantastic captain but not right now he had just come back from lengthy period out the game he needs to get his feet set 2 or 3 good seasons under his belt maybe a couple of GB caps aswell and then start thinkin bout captancy

it dont take a genius to work out that lockers shouldnt have the captaincy, not once during a game will he talk to his team mates and give them instructions. Wagga has taken on that responsability lol he's always telling the players what they should be doing and where they should be.

I thought a look back in the archives might be interesting, the result of our vote last year for who should be captain:-

Lockers: 20 votes (38%)
Fletcher: 16 votes (30%)
Newton: 6 votes (11%)
Orr: 4 votes (7%)
me!: 3 votes (5%) - no, I didn't vote for myself!
Tickle: 2 votes (3%)
Rads: 1 vote (1%)
Moran: 0 votes

So, Lockers was the most popular, although I could be annoying and say that 32 people didn't want him as captain which is more than the 20 who did! My vote went for Fletcher back then, I still stand by that now.

id prefer to see fletcher take it up as he has been there and worn the t-shirt. godwin, james and orr seem to be the gobby ones in the team at present but thats because fletcher wasn't in in the alst 3 games. at the cup game you could see fletcher trying to lift the players when we scored our first try in the second half. he is a good captain, or should i say he would be and lockers could learn a few things.

This was the voting on the clubsite (before Rads' retirement was annouced).

Who do you think should captain the Warriors in 2006?
Kris Radlinski 31%
Sean O'Loughlin 29%
Bryan Fletcher 21%
Dennis Moran 5%
Danny Tickle 8%
Brett Dallas 3%
Other (presumably Fraggle) 2%

Total Votes: 2429
