Future Signings

Now that Barrett's in the bag

What are we going to do about our pittyfull centre partnerships?

Has anyone heard any rumours on likely transfers?

Johnson would have been good, but with the clear out this will release good money and there will be quota spots

Any news???

Only speculations and wants.

Id like to see Gary Connolly at centre, and also Tuigamala.

Do you mean Boris Johnson? You must have seen the England -v- Germany match last night where he all but spear tackled one of the germans. :)

Reminded me of an old tv advertisement...:-

id like see more signings at the club but only one problem with it. what we going to do with the kids whats in today whos on less than 300 pound a week? surely its not fair that likes of vailaki whos on 2000 a week and there on rubbish money. as a plea to the board at wigan, sort the wage structure out by making everyone on around about the same. no wonder where doing badly.

anyone agree with me?

Whilst I agree the money's poor, please don't swear. Thank you, Fraggle

But ultimately, it's not down to the club because of the 20/20 rule. We're now upto squad number 36 or some such, but only 20 of those can be on more than £20k, the rest are going to be earning a very poor wage for a professional sportsperson.

No.

Star players want star money.

The problem we have is in identifying a star that will perform at the JJB.

The clubs are also hampered by the 20/20.

fair enough like but look at st helens, they got a team full of top players like, meli, lyon, sculthorpe, long, cayless, wellens, pryce etc. there is no way they wont be on less than 1000 a week.
