Cross-posting of messages

Thanks to one user posting the same message lots and lots of times in many different threads, the following rule has been added to the Rules and FAQ page. Thanks to Mr Nate for inspiring rule number 13.

"13. Do not post the same message in lots of different message threads, particularly if it has no relevance to any other message in that thread. If you have something to say then start a new message thread and keep to that one thread. Cross-posted, irrelevant messages may be deleted without warning."

I might start a new thread asking people not to multiple post topics.
And then another thread asking Fraggle to create an extra rule about multiple threads.

Unfortunately we've already got the multiple threads rule in there. So I would have to start a new thread to reprimand you for failing to read the rules about creating new message threads for no sensible reason...

hmmm?

i saw that today the same message in about 3 different threads.
I spent quite a while removing all the cross-posted messages. We try to pick up things pretty quickly but unfortunately can't be here all the time...

Can you not start a 'junior' section so the rest of us don't have to trawl through the miss-spelt babble of the youth element??
